A small update for Syndicate

A small update for Syndicate 2/24/2020   Greetings, everyone! I have released a super small update for Syndicate. It fixes a few bugs and refines a few features. If you already have version 1.3 installed, you probably won't need to update to the latest version. However, if you haven't tried out Syndicate yet, now is a great time to  check it out ! With that being said, I do hope to start working on a new Android project soon. After all, it's about time! Inactivity aside, I do look forward to working on more projects in the near future. Stay tuned!

Syndicate v1.3 is here!

Syndicate v1.3 is here! 2/23/2020   It has been ages since I last updated Syndicate. However, that changes today with the release of Syndicate v1.3. This update for Syndicate introduces a ton of exciting new features while improving the user interface! What's new: Find feeds:  Looking for a certain feed? You can now search for a specific feed and have it shown to you! Better UI:  I have improved Syndicate's user interface quite a bit. It's easier to read things now and less clunky in general. Feeds count:  If you click on the Syndicate icon in the top right corner, you can view the total number of feeds you have. Random feed:  Want something to read? You can now have Syndicate pick a random feed for you! (These feeds are from a curated list. All of them are appropriate.) Bug fixes:  Finally, I have squashed some bugs in this update. I hope you enjoy this update for Syndicate! I have spent a lot of time working on it. My next project will most likely be a ne...

Happy Birthday, Tectra Blog!

Happy Birthday, Tectra Blog! 2/15/2020   A week ago, I got an email from Weebly telling me that my domain was going to renew for the third time. To think that this website is approaching three years old amazes me. I started this website with very little knowledge of coding, yet it has now become home to over 30 different apps and programs. That in itself is pretty amazing. The Early Days Tectra wasn't always so active, though. There was a time when I was only offering 3 programs for download, all of which weren't particularly amazing in the quality department. However, by the time Tectra was approaching mid-2018, things were becoming pretty depressing. Asides from the occasional update, there wasn't much to see here. At that time, Tectra didn't have any form of a blog. Most of the time, you wouldn't even notice that a new update had been released. Tectra has some serious problems. Unfortunately, the situation only got worse. Tectra became an empty wasteland towards ...

The next generation of PDF Toolbox.

The next generation of PDF Toolbox. 2/15/2020   Tectra Writer 1.7 was released last year and redefined what Writer was at the time. It added a ton of new features that were very useful. PDF Toolbox v1.3 might not be quite as major of an update as Tectra Writer v1.7, but it does come pretty close. Gone is the boring user interface, replaced by a beautiful new material design. Better yet, features have been added, refined, and improved. Put simply, PDF Toolbox v1.3 is a huge update that Tectra hasn't seen the likes of since last year. What's new: Material design:  PDF Toolbox has an amazing new material design. Gone is the boring, somewhat complicated, user interface. The material design mixes a dark color palette with tasteful animations, making PDF Toolbox look and feel very modern. HTML to PDF:  This feature is still in the works, but you can now convert basic HTML files to PDF files. It's a work in progress, but it's still pretty neat! Create multiple blank pages: ...

Back in business!

Back in business! 2/8/2020   Saying that Tectra has been inactive over the last few months is an understatement. Thankfully, Tectra is back in business! An update for ComplimentMe is rolling out that adds a programmer themed compliment list. Additionally, I plan on working on several other projects in the coming weeks. The reason why Tectra hasn't been very active lately is due to a number of factors. First and foremost, my laptop was getting upgraded because I needed more RAM and storage to get stuff done. Then, I had to deal with accidentally losing my Google Play Keystore when reinstalling Windows. In the end, I was able to generate a new Keystore and start writing Android apps again. However, this was a painful process that took a lot of time. I apologize for Tectra's inactivity. Thankfully, Tectra is back and better than ever!

PyCalc has been released!

PyCalc has been released! 3/5/2020   Hello, everyone! Lately, I have been working hard on PyCalc, a Pythagorean Theorem calculator for Palm OS. It can solve for the legs and hypotenuse of a triangle. You can also choose how far PyCalc rounds the final result. If you're interested in checking it out,  click here . I hope you like it! A few notes: I plan on submitting PyCalc to PalmDB soon. I tested PyCalc on a Palm m105 running Palm OS 3.5 and it worked perfectly. If you have any problems, feel free to  send me an email . Thanks for reading and have a great day!
